Only 3 activities left

Okay, guys. Because it is getting near the end of the year and everyone is getting burned out on school, I have decided that the ASL Club will only be having three more activities. The officers met today and we planned some fun stuff.

  • Friday, April 17th we will be having a scavenger hunt.
  • Friday, May 15th, thanks to your awesome fund-raising abilities during February, the ASL Club will be heading to the Lagoon for the day. Sorry, it is a B day and we're going to miss all of it. Permission forms will be handed out on Monday, May 4th. Parent and teacher forms will need to be signed in order for you to come.
  • And finally, Friday, May 29th will be our last activity before school is out for the summer. We will be planting flowers outside the building, watching a slide show of all the activities we've had, and eating junk food.
I have had a lot of fun this year and I'm looking forward to doing it all again next year. For those of you who are graduating... congratulations on making it through high school, and... I will miss you. Good luck with your futures.

Pizza, popcorn, hot chocolate, and a movie

For those of you who did not come to the activity today, thank you. That meant more pizza and popcorn for those who did come... especially me. I was starved.

Thanks to Ashlee G for bringing the pizza, and thank me for bringing the popcorn and hot chocolate: we all munched until we were sick. This is a good thing.

Can you tell what movie we watched?

Cyprus Multicultural Assembly

Ladies and Gentlemen~
I just want to give a special thank you to Kaileigh Atkins, Jenn Gonzalez, and Siobhan Mills. Ladies, I appreciate your hard work and dedication to learning and practicing for the assembly today. It was really important that the Deaf Culture be represented in the multicultural assembly and your performance was a huge success. We have gotten tons of compliments and a lot of recognition. Thanks again.

Multicultural Assembly

Hey, ASL Club members~
We have an opportunity to perform for the whole school in the Multicultural Assembly coming up on March 13th.
If you are interested in performing, please come to room 225 this Friday, February 6th, at 2:30. We will need to dedicate a lot of time in order to rehearse our song or skit, so make sure to can commit. The more the merrier!

Valentine's Day Cards

We have been selling Valentine's Day Cards in order to raise money to have an awesome activity at the end of the year. This Friday, February 6th, we need to make more cards, so please come to room 225 at 2:30.
Keep selling those cards. The more we sell, the more money we have, and the better the activity. Thanks, ASL Club!

ASL Club Activity

Hey, ya'll. Today we will be making posters to announce the upcoming sale of Valentines Day cards. We will be making the cards on Friday, January 30th and again Friday, February 6th.
The ASL Club members will be selling the cards during the first two weeks in February, then we will hand-deliver the cards on Friday, February 13th. This will be an awesome way to earn money for our club so that we can have a super-fun activity at the end of the school year.
Hope all of you can come and help support the club by making and selling Valentines cards.
